Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Ursine Software websites and applications.

Effective date: August 18, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and related services provided by Ursine Software (“Ursine Software,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

Using our services

You may use our services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for your conduct, your devices, and any data or content you create, enter, store, transmit, or export through the services.

You may not misuse the services, interfere with their operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to them, use them to violate another person’s rights, introduce malicious code, or use them for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features or services at any time. We do not guarantee that any service or feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Pre-release, preview, beta, and “coming soon” features may change or may not be released.

Your data and content

You retain ownership of content and data you create or store through our services. You grant us only the rights reasonably necessary to operate a service when information is transmitted to us.

Some of our applications are local-first and store data primarily on your device. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and for protecting access to your device. Removing an application, losing a device, or clearing its storage may permanently delete local data.

Third-party services

Our services may interact with third-party platforms, devices, websites, app stores, or services. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, security, or practices.

If paid products, subscriptions, or in-app purchases are offered, payment and refund processing may be handled by the applicable app store or payment provider and may also be subject to its terms.

Intellectual property

The services, including their software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other materials, are owned by Ursine Software or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the services for their intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of any Ursine Software intellectual property to you.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the services except as permitted by applicable law or an applicable open-source license.

Health, fitness, firearms, and outdoor activities

Information and calculations provided by our services are for general informational and organizational purposes. They are not medical, health, legal, firearms-safety, or professional advice and should not replace qualified judgment or instruction.

Exercise, shooting sports, hunting, and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. You are responsible for assessing your condition, equipment, environment, and applicable laws; using appropriate safety practices; and deciding whether an activity is suitable for you. Stop an activity and seek appropriate professional help if conditions are unsafe or you experience pain, illness, or injury.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ursine Software and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from or related to the services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the applicable service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to a service if you materially violate these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure, or misuse the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date on this page. Your continued use of the services after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
